This page explains what data Polar Bear collects when you visit our website (the main site and its subdomains, including the agents and ron landing pages), how we use cookies, and how you can control your choices.
Who we are

Analytics we use
- Google Analytics 4 — measures traffic, pages viewed and where visitors come from, so we can improve the site. GA4 sets cookies only after you accept in the cookie banner. Until then it runs in Google’s consent mode (aggregated, cookieless signals).
- Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregated traffic metrics from our hosting provider. It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.

Your choices
When you first visit, we ask for your consent before loading analytics cookies. You can decline and still use the site — analytics will stay off. You can change your decision at any time using the button below.

Email & marketing
We send email only to people who ask for it. You join our list in one of two ways, and both require a deliberate action from you:
- Subscribe box — you type your email into the “Guides like this, in your inbox” form on our pages and press Subscribe. The form states that by subscribing you agree to receive occasional Polar Bear emails.
- Guide downloads — you enter your name and work email to unlock the AI companion version of a guide. The form states that by downloading you agree to receive occasional Polar Bear emails, and links to this policy.
We do not buy, rent or import email lists, and we never add people who have not entered their address themselves. Our lawful basis for these emails is your consent, given at the moment you submit one of those forms.
Emails contain new people-ops guides and tools for agency leaders. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe any time by emailing hello@meet-polar-bear.com. We store your email address, the page or guide you signed up from, and the date, so we can honour your request and show when consent was given. Email is delivered through Brevo, our email provider, which processes it on our behalf.
Data outside the EEA
Google Analytics may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area. Google provides safeguards for such transfers under its terms and applicable data-protection frameworks.

We may update this page as our tools change. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
